DIANE HATZ
Diane Hatz, a TEDster and nationally-recognized sustainable food advocate, is the main organizer and host of TEDxManhattan. She is preparing to launch her latest campaign, EndFoodWasteNow.org. She was the Co-Founder of The Glynwood Institute for Sustainable Food and Farming, as well as the founder of Sustainable Table, Executive Producer of The Meatrix movies and co-founder of The Eat Well Guide. She is passionate about bringing together the TED and sustainable food communities and devotes her time to using her marketing skills to help shift the U.S. to a regional sustainable food system where healthy nutritious food is accessible to all.

Mary Cleaver is a pioneer in the sustainable food movement, and The Cleaver Company is New York City’s preeminent green caterer. They are the official caterer for TEDxManhattan 2011. Sybil Dessau is a freelance producer and director. With over 10 years production experience, Sybil has produced a diverse range of documentaries, reality shows and commercials for television and the web. Sybil has worked for international production companies that range from Granada to ABC News and made her feature film directorial debut in 2007 with “American Shopper,” which premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival. Sybil hopes to contribute to the Food Movement by using her storytelling skills to bring awareness to the challenges we face within our food system. She is currently developing a children’s show concept featuring Mark Bittman, with the aim to get kids interested in their food and where it comes from.
